this last weekend chris and i celebrated our anniversary.  i loved spending the whole weekend by his side, he truly is my best friend.  chris took me shopping to get an outfit for our anniversary, i had been eyeing this eliza j skirt from dillards and when he gave me the green light to get it for our celebration i was beyond excited, and had to share it with all of you!

this skirt is so feminine and flattering that it makes you feel beautiful the instant you put it on.  i love mixing patterns, materials and textures, i partnered this formal skirt with a simple gap navy and blue t-shirt, a fun mix of patterns and styles.  it also allows me to dress down this formal skirt to make it perfect for our date night out.

first anniversary

we’ve been so busy lately, with chris’s last semester at the university, homework, work, photographing and blogging it was nice to spend the weekend celebrating our anniversary. with the changing weather i love spending the evenings outside, at the end of the night we threw down a blanket on the lawn of the capital and really focused on what matters, each other.

(p.s. this picture took a lot of takes, and also a lot of laughs… hahah)
